SHINKENCHIKU-SHA AND CENTRAL GLASS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.

Within the constant, ever-increasing rate of international exchange, there exists a growing concern about the loss of regional identity and the “collapse of differences.” In response, this proposal creates an east-west global cultural center whose purpose and goal is to ensure the preservation of indigenous tradition, custom, and myth within a future
world civilization. The central spine of the proposal is located precisely on the International Dateline, near the Aleutia Islands. In much the same way the United Nations was formed to serve world law and order, this institution is meant to serve the preservation of local culture at a global scale.
